As I posted earlier - I am trying to save money this year. The first thing I need to know is where I am throwing it away. An obvious answer to that is lunch at work. When I get lazy, I don't bring any food to work for breakfast or lunch.
During the last two months I averaged @2.25 for breakfast each day and almost $7.00 for lunch. I am not talking about anything fancy here, instead my normal lunch is a sandwhich, chips, drink, and cookies. If we total that up, we are looking at almost $50 a week or $200 a month - ouch!!!
So here is my first New Year's goal - to bring my food atleast 3 days a week. Using the numbers above, that will save me over $1,440.00 a year!!! Now, what will I do with an extra $1400 in December???
